Product Overview
PE-100: High-Performance HDPE Resin for Pressure Applications
PE100 is a premium grade of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) that offers superior long-term strength and durability. Engineered for pressure piping systems, PE100 is widely used in water, gas, and industrial pipeline infrastructure thanks to its excellent mechanical properties, chemical resistance, and stress crack resistance (ESCR).
This grade meets the stringent performance requirements of ISO 4427, EN 12201, and related global standards for pressure piping systems.
Key Features
-
✅ High Hydrostatic Strength: PE100 can withstand long-term internal pressures, even under harsh environmental conditions.
-
🧪 Excellent Stress Crack Resistance (ESCR): Enhanced durability against environmental and mechanical stress.
-
🔧 Process Versatility: Suitable for extrusion, injection molding, and compression molding.
-
🖤 UV-Resistant (Black Grades): With carbon black additive for outdoor applications.
-
♻️ Low Environmental Impact: Recyclable and chemically stable for decades.

PE-100 vs PE-80 – Key Differences
Feature | PE-100 | PE-80 |
---|---|---|
Strength (MPa) | ~10 MPa | ~8 MPa |
Design Stress | Higher | Lower |
Wall Thickness | Thinner pipes at same pressure | Thicker pipes required |
Applications | Heavy-duty, higher pressure | Light to medium-duty |
PE100 allows lighter pipes with the same pressure rating, lowering material and installation costs.
Available Forms
